Toone II (1848-1895) dit Jan van de Marmit parce que son local se serait appelé « In de Marmit », se nommait François Taelemans. Il conduit le jeu de 1865 jusqu’à sa mort. Il habitait le même immeuble que Toone l’Ancien, qu’il choisit comme parrain de son fils. Lui non plus ne quittera jamais le quartier des Marolles. Et c’est lui qui sera désigné comme Toone II dans la généalogie établie en 1931 par « Les Amis de la Marionnette ».
